    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills
    • Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest 
    • Provide animated, interactive and personalized interpretation of the local history, wildlife, vegetation and geology related to Lake Minnewanka and Banff National Park that exceeds our guest’s expectations
    • Operate tour boars with the safety of all passengers as the primary focus, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations Master Limited <60 Ton
    • Assist as needed to ensure all visitors to Banff Lake Cruise have the very best possible guest experience
    • Maintain trip and mechanical logs
    • Sustain a safe and clean environment in all areas controlled by Banff Lake Cruise

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • High attention to detail and good communication skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Public speaking skills
    • Mechanically inclined
    • Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), support and course reimbursement provided
    • To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record check

    Work Environment

    • Contract dates;
      • May 1st to October 14th, 2018
    • Starting wage is $14/hr, which increases to $15/hr upon successful completion of training
    • Eligibile for a performance and retention bonus of up to $1 per hour worked
