    • Assist with the daily operation of the Hotel Accounting Department with an emphasis on extranet billing for all Banff Jasper Collection (BJC) hotel properties
    • Assist with Day Audit – verifying the night audit reports, checking for discrepancies with payments and postings, and balancing and depositing daily cash
    • Execute billing of all extranet based companies
    • Assist with hotel accounts payables and accounts receivables
    • Perform general office duties
    • Conduct other tasks as directed by the Hotel Accountant
    • Support multiple levels of operations including hotel managers and department managers


    The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities;
    • High school or equivalent education required, Bachelor’s Degree or related technical school degree preferred
    • 1 to 5 years in hotel, office or similar function
    • Speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
    • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process  
    • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal direct supervision
    • Ability to multi-task and work independently
    • Basic computational ability and basic computer skills
    • Math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Previous experience with Maestro/Great Plains preferred
    • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per BJC standards
    • To perform this job successfully, a candidate must be able to perform each essential function
