    Responsibilities

    • Working in tandem with the MT Royal F&B Manager to create an unparalleled food and beverage experience
    • Driving the consistent delivery of standards
    • Maintaining the integrity of the rules, regulations and operating procedures
    • Ensure a safe environment for all patrons and staff
    • Motivating and supporting employees to provide excellence in service
    • Developing strong channels of communication and fostering team spirit
    • Flexible working schedule based on business volumes and groups
    • Conducting employee development reviews, completing daily and bi-weekly payroll / time entries, and accurately forecasting for potential turnover
    • Actively monitor LTR and revenues through Kronos and Micros
    • Actively seek employee involvement and suggestions, actively coach and develop staff to continuously improve performance
    • Follow all standard operating procedures
    • Assist in creating innovative menus, promotions and events for the Toque
    • Assist with consistent and accurate scheduling
    • Ensuring all AGLC rules, policies and training are in place

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and abilities;

    • At least 2 years of Food and Beverage leadership experience
    • Experience working in a bar or lounge environment
    • Strong knowledge of bar/lounge operations, as well as current food and beverage trends and offerings
    • Solid communication, self-motivated and interpersonal skills
    • Flexible with your schedule
    • Computer literacy with knowledge of Micros and Kronos is an asset
    • Solid track record in motivating and leading a team
    • High energy, creativity, and the initiative to solve problems effectively        
    • Knowledge about and a passion for the Bow Valley and surrounding area an asset
