    • To be an active member of the Maligne Valley Management team, supporting peers & continually working at building a cohesive team that works together effectively as “one team”
    • Translate vision and strategy into actions designed to grow the business, both in service delivery levels and financial results
    • Collaborates closely with F&B/Retail Support Services and the Maligne Interpretation team to enhance all elements of the hospitality experience at the newly renovated Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake Cruise
    • Assists project management team to ensure renovation projects are on time, on target and deliverables achieved
    • Ability to communicate strategy, standards and results to the team ensuring accountability and staying connected to the business
    • Coordinate the development of key performance indicators for the team along with personal Goals and objectives in alignment with Maligne Valley business operational strategies
    • Develops standards and techniques to ensure safety, efficiency, consistency, quality and an elevated guest and team experience
    • Act accordingly to all emergency and safety protocols taking on a leadership role as required for any instances that arise
    • To assist in developing annual and long-term strategic plans for Retail and F&B operations with a focus on succession planning for leadership positions
    • Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times
    • Coach, develop and mentor the team while maintaining a fun, professional workplace
    • Adherence to financial forecasts and budgets; instrumental in taking steps to assist the business in exceeding targets
    • Conduct business with Guests, Staff and Suppliers with uncompromising integrity meeting our “Always Honest” and Pursuit collection core values
    • To provide Hospitality/Sales leadership, ensuring that all areas are meeting and exceeding Guest Experience and Sales expectations, as measured via quality assurance metrics and programs
    • Assists in preparing necessary data for budget; projects, labor and other costs and monitors actual financial results
    • Assist and support other divisions or departments with “Service recovery” as needed to ensure we have consistent service practices across all areas
    • Foster a culture of creativity, excellence, fun and hospitality
    • “Promise to Place” ensure sustainability programming that represents the values at the heart of Pursuit; specifically, honoring place through stewardship, respect and community
    • Participate in monthly financial reviews, forecasting and annual budget discussions


    • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in food and beverage, resorts or attractions
    • Unparalleled commitment to health and safety

    • A passion for food and beverage and retail hospitality

    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, solutions driven and follow through
