The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent (required)
Previous Interpretive guiding experience or educational background in Geology, glaciology (IGA certification) an asset
Previous employee training experience or completing performance assessments
Able to provide effective, constructive interpretive feedback to department staff, regularly identifying individual strengths and areas for improvement
Computer skills (strength is excel, word and other Microsoft office applications)
Highly organized, effective team player, ability to think outside the box with a positive attitude, and problem solving skills
Friendly, mature, energetic personality
Standard First aid or higher an asset
Able to set a performance standard of excellence while operating in the field
Adhere to Pursuit Collection’s grooming policy and operate under our Always Honest Policy
Excited by the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
