    Responsibilities

    • Providing daily oversight of all Food & Beverage operations including; Sky Bistro, Northern Lights and Castle Mountain Coffee Company
    • Oversee all day-to-day operations and logistical organization while increasing sales and profitability and consistently delivering exceptional guest service standards
    • Continue to drive guest and employee experiences while assisting with the recruitment, training, development and retention of high quality team members
    • Create and nurture a world class environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing exceptional service
    • Anticipate key issues and informational needs and be prepared to discuss ongoing performance and functions that will enhance the performance of the Gondola food and beverage operations
    • Preparation of monthly forecasting and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenues
    • Participate in the budgeting process – develop, implement and manage the budget, forecast, inventory and operating cost for the various outlets to maximize revenue and minimize expense
    • Provide leadership and coaching that fosters an environment of problem solving, service, teamwork, accuracy and speed, improved business practices and attract and retain superior talent on our team
    • Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader and guest safety advocate
    • Ability to manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
    • While reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, establish strong partner-like relationships with the Gondola leadership team and all Pursuit Collection Managers and Directors based on deep understanding, acumen and knowledge of the Company’s business, strategy, plans and performance of the Pursuit Collection Food & Beverage operations
    • Collect, communicate and lead the efforts to know and understand our customers, guest trends, innovation, and product development
    • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service level; review feedback from guests through Social Media and Guest Satisfaction Surveys and drive goals to increase scores
    • Staffing, training, development, staff meetings, scheduling and payroll submissions
    • Assist with planning and execution of functions and events throughout the outlets
    • Ordering, inventory and stock take along with ability for coding and remittance of all invoices
    • Assist in development and execution of F&B promotions for Sky Bistro, Northern Lights and Castle Mountain Coffee Company

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • 10+ years of experience in the hospitality and travel industries
    • Proven food and beverage management experience
    • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
    • Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
    • Thrives in a fast paced and high energy work environment
    • Experience with best in class operating systems, training, staff development and the operational management of large and complex operations
    • Expertise in building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization, particularly with operating teams, line supervisors, and seasonal staff
    • Able to create “followership” through modelling our core values and best practices
    • Capable of inspiring teams to drive speed and performance within the organization
    • Experience with financial management and creating strong employee and guest satisfaction
    • Ideal candidate would have strong experience across a broad range of food and beverage activities, meetings/events and functions
    • Wine knowledge and fine dining management experience
